Late Afternoon Light On Green Point

The Late afternoon sun’s glow strikes the edge of the Green Point rocks and distant clouds in West Quoddy Head State Park, Lubec, ME. The golden glow on the rocky shore’s edge and distant cliff indicates the last stream of light just before the sun sinks over the hill. The reflective glow on the horizon is typical at this time of day. This painting features knife work in the foreground.
